Terms and Conditions – Hotel Rural Monte da Provença

 

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all online bookings via our website. Bookings via telephone or email are not accepted.
The contract party is the guest; the provider is Hotel Rural Monte da Provença / Proventur Lda., Monte da Provença, S. Vicente e Ventosa, 7350-481 Elvas, Portugal.

2. Booking and Conclusion of Contract

  • Bookings are made via our online booking system direct-book.com.

  • Prices include all taxes, fees and breakfast.

  • Maximum occupancy per room is 3 persons. The third person must be booked additionally.

  • Pets are not permitted in the hotel or on the entire premises.

3. Payment

  • Payment is due on the day of arrival.

  • A valid and sufficiently funded credit card must be provided at the time of booking to secure the reservation.

  • If the credit card is invalid or has insufficient funds, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without further notice.

  • Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Multibanco, cash, and advance bank transfer upon prior agreement.

4. Cancellation and Rebooking

  • The cancellation and rebooking conditions communicated at the time of booking apply.

5. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: 14:00 to 21:00

  • Check-out: 08:00 to 12:00

  • Early check-in or late check-out is available upon request.

6. Liability

  • The hotel is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings, except in cases of gross negligence.

  • Guests are liable for any damage to room inventory.

  • The hotel minimises risks of accidents on the premises to the best of its knowledge; guests are responsible for their own safety.

7. Special Rules

  • Non-smoking rooms: All rooms are non-smoking. Violation incurs a cleaning fee of €100.

  • Smoking and fire ban: Smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited on the entire property due to high fire risk.

  • Pool rules: Posted rules at the pool entrance apply.

  • Other regulations (restaurants, lodging, etc.) are governed by Portuguese law.

8. Data Protection and Cookies

  • Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are integral parts of the booking terms.
